Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme 2024 for the Poor and self-help group (SHG) workers. Under this scheme, eligible applicants will get financial support of Rs 35,000. The government has aimed to empower the 40 Lakh Women of the state. There is good news for the Assam women, now the applicants will get Rs 35,000 in their bank account. The government has decided to transfer the amount in three installments Rs 10,000 in the first year, Rs 12,500 in the second year, and Rs 12,500in the third year.
