Odisha’s Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik launched new scheme named Mukhyamantri Shiksha Puraskar Yojana Award and Scholarship Scheme. The scheme is launch for all participants in the public education system, for their outstanding efforts in achieving academic brilliance and holistic development of schools.
Almost 50,000 students will get Award under Mukhyamantri Shiksha Puraskar Yojana Odisha. The government decided total 100 Crore Rupees for this scheme. All newly constructed schools will get benefit from this scheme.

Odisha Mukhyamantri Shiksha Puraskar Yojana 2024
Mukhyamantri Shiksha Puraskar Yojana is beneficial for primary and secondary school teachers and eligible students. Under this scheme, 50,000 students, 1,500 headmasters, school management committees, sarpanches, and alumni will be awarded.

Odisha Mukhyamantri Shiksha Puraskar Yojana Benefits
Two types of awards will be given to beneficiaries – individual acknowledgments and group acknowledgments.
Individual awards are for Teachers, headmistresses, headmasters, and students.
And group awards will be given at the block, gram panchayat, and district levels, 100 secondary school educators in each of the seven selected subjects.
